To impulsejade and all relevant members;
I have actually tested some of this "tipu email lottery offer". The famous one was the La Primitiva lottery. My only losses was about RM 20.00 international call to Spain to confirm with the so called Lottery Collection Manager.
This is how the scam works... :-
1) You receive an anonymous lottery winning email direct to your personal email. Sometimes, attention to your name.
2) You responded to them - the lottery manager.
3) They ask for you information - address, bank, swift code etc.
4) You received an email from a bank in Spain saying that big sum of monies has been deposited to your account via swift code - TT.
5) The lottery manager then send an email to say that due to government procedure the money was withheld until certain % of winning monies is cleared via government agency.
6) You are asked to pay via swift TT to an account given to you.
7) If you do - mampus lah duit U. I stopped here and gave them an authorization to deduct the EURO from my winning monies. They got mad and say that was not acceptable.
8) I then said that " who in the sane mind will part with EURO XXXX " unless 100% sure we get the winning prize. And as the winner I have every right to use the money - I even offer the 50% of the winning monies !!! They got even madder and stop all correspondence with me.
9) I call again to follow up .... this time they speak Spanish and slam the phone...
Lesson. If U want to burn yr money might as well play KTM ( maybe u win some ). Those crazy email will make U crazier...
p/s am attaching the bank letter - very convincing ( separate forum note ) !!!

org malaysia kerna anggapan mereka org malaysia mempunyai ekonomi yang agak kukuh.seperti juger dengan kumpulan black money keneper mereka target org malaysia????jawapannyer fikir -fikir kan lah...

Jade,
Ask your self first, why he did not go to someone who is in the financial sector? I did not know what rule is required to bring in big amount of money. To get $2,500 from magnum is already so difficult. Think about it.
Tomorrow try hungry ghost month date. 771?
