Managing Your Bet Capital
The basic concept are simple. Patience & Control.

Cold Hard CASH - Always set a budget :
Start a weekly budget or maybe a budget per bet day. Assuming that you have set RM5 per day, make sure that's the maximum amount of cash you'll be playing with on a bet day. It can be less but nothing more than that. You can choose to play less or not to play if you don't really feel like going for a regular bet for a day. It's totally OK. Majority of the lottery gamblers will disagree on the statement. The general perception is WE MUST GO FOR EVERY BET. Is that right ? Well it's totally WRONG!

Why ? You must learn to put money back into your pockets which a lot of gamblers don't. General gamblers will use the prize money they had won to buy more numbers. Bear in mind that a win is not a win when the prize money is put back into the betting outlets. In the end, who's the winner ? The lottery operators. Agree ?

Plan your bet capital. Always ask yourself how much can you afford to loose ? We have 3 games in a week for the 3 different outlets. Look at your own capital and allocate them for the 3 games. Never put all your capital in one game. If you do that all the time, you might end up loosing more than you win. Patience is the key here.

Have a look at the scenarios below:

Gambler 1 : Use RM10 to place a bet on his 'lucky' number and hope for it to strike. If he loses the first draw, bet another RM10 on the same number again. This will go on and on. This is a typical "Putting all eggs in one basket" gambler.
Player 2 : Firstly, set his budget at RM10 per week. Use the RM10 and allocate it out to 3 different draws per week. Analyse the trend, place the bets evenly to 4 high possibility numbers and hope for it to win. This is an example of a "diversified investments".
Are you Gambler 1 or Player 2 ?

Setting your limits
Don't let yourself loose more than what you can afford. Set a limit. Calculate your maximum lost against your minimum win. If you need to fork out more than what you think you can win, plan again.

A good money management skill is vital in gaming. After all, it takes a lot of efforts and hardworks to win. Who dare claims that winning a game is easy ?
